A trading desk built
in-house, since 2004.

David Holdings runs its own order-management stack, co-located at the NSE and BSE data centres, and extends the same engineering discipline to clients through software development, IT services, data infrastructure, and process outsourcing. Technology here is built to be owned, audited, and held for the long term.

Our approach

How we build,
and how we run it.

Whether the engagement is a bespoke application or a managed outsourcing arrangement, the discipline is the same: specify carefully, build for audit, and operate with accountability.

01
Specification
We document requirements, data flows, and compliance obligations before a line is written, so the system is built to be auditable from the outset.
02
Build & integrate
Applications are developed and customised across web and mobile, integrated with market data, custody, and reporting, and tested against real exchange behaviour.
03
Infrastructure
Workloads are hosted on owned data-centre, networking, and telecommunication infrastructure, with the resilience and latency that financial operations require.
04
Operate & outsource
Where clients prefer, we run the operation as a managed BPO or KPO service — onshore or offshore — with documented controls and ongoing research and development.

Questions, answered

On the technology
practice.

A few of the questions institutions raise before licensing the platform or engaging our build and outsourcing teams.

Can the trading platform be licensed by other firms?
Yes. The order-management surface our own dealers use is available under licence to qualifying institutional clients, either white-labelled or integrated with an existing stack. Engagements begin with a technical and compliance review.
Do you build bespoke software, or only the trading platform?
We develop and customise software well beyond trading — web and mobile applications, data processing and warehousing, and line-of-business systems — applying the same engineering discipline used on our own platform.
What is the difference between your BPO and KPO services?
Business Process Outsourcing covers the running of operational processes such as data processing and transcription. Knowledge Process Outsourcing covers analytical and research-led work that requires domain judgement. Both are offered onshore or offshore.
Where is data hosted, and how is it secured?
Workloads run on owned data-centre and networking infrastructure with documented access controls, audit trails, and resilience appropriate to financial operations. Specific arrangements are agreed per engagement and set out in the service contract.
Can you take over an existing operation?
In many cases, yes. We assess the existing process or system, document the controls required, and transition it into a managed onshore or offshore arrangement with continued research and development support.
