The Practice

Five disciplines.

I · Private Wealth

Plans drafted
for generations,
not quarters.

Each engagement begins with a written investment policy — a private document jointly authored with the family principals, defining risk tolerance, liquidity needs, philanthropic intent, and succession architecture. The portfolio is the consequence of the plan, never its substitute.

  • Financial planning & cashflow
  • Strategic asset allocation
  • Risk profiling & stress tests
  • Estate & will drafting
  • Tax-efficient structures
  • Mutual funds, bonds, IPOs

II · Technology

A trading desk
built in-house,
since 2004.

David Holdings runs its own order-management stack, co-located at NSE and BSE primary data centers, with sub-millisecond execution and a full audit trail. The same infrastructure underwrites our consulting, KPO, and white-label platform work for select institutional clients.

III · Strategies & Portfolios

Patient capital,

Three discretionary strategies and a fixed-income book — each with a written thesis, a position sizing framework, and a documented sell discipline. We do not chase indices; we build portfolios we are content to hold for a decade.

V · Markets & Broking

Execution
with a desk,
not a script.

Direct lines to a dealing desk staffed by humans who have lived through three crises. We execute on cash, derivatives, and commodities, and we are willing to refuse trades we believe will harm a client's long-term position. Capital-market advisory complements the desk for promoter and institutional flow.

The Trading Platform

The desk our
own dealers use.

A glimpse of David Holdings Sovereign Terminal™ — our internal order-management surface. Available under licence to qualifying institutional clients.

The Method

Four chapters,
in this order.

Every relationship — whether a family office or a publicly listed promoter — follows the same four-chapter cadence. The discipline is intentional.

I
Discover
We listen, at length, before recommending anything. Balance-sheet, philosophy, family, succession, philanthropy. Six weeks, sometimes longer.
II
Plan
A written investment policy statement is drafted, debated, and signed. It governs every decision the firm makes on your behalf thereafter.
III
Execute
Portfolios are built deliberately, in tranches. Tax, custody, and reporting are handled in-house. Every trade is reconciled before close of business.
IV
Steward
Quarterly reviews, annual policy refresh, and a standing line to the partner who knows your file. Capital is not transferred — it is stewarded.
The Partnership

Stewards of
the firm.

Partners hold capital alongside clients. Decisions are made by people whose names appear on the door.
